1997 AIB Excellent Rating

The facility receives its first AIB Excellent Rating 805 score in 1997. For the next few consecutive years, it maintains the superior rating. During the same year, the facility is first registered with ISO 9002: 1994 standards.

Lee Kum Kee (USA) Food Inc. successfully achieves a Certificate of Achievement with the highest food safety standards certifications in the world, which many customers require to do business. Lee Kum Kee (Xinhui) Food Company Limited receives Kosher Certification after a rigorous audit conducted by Kosher Supervision of America (KSH) on August, 2003.

For five consecutive years, Lee Kum Kee wins Superbrand Gold Award in Hong Kong and Singapore (seasoning products category) organized by the internationally renowned Reader's Digest magazine. Lee Kum Kee is further recognized for its outstanding presence in the Asian marketplace by achieving the SuperBrand Gold Award once again in Asia.



China's Top Brand Honor

On September 1, 2003, Lee Kum Kee (Xinhui) Food Co., Ltd. received the "China Top Brand" plaque and certificate awarded by the State General Administration of the People's Republic of China for Quality Supervision and Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ). This is another national recognition for Lee Kum Kee after already securing the state certification of "Product Exemption from Quality Surveillance Inspection" and "Quality Safety".

This year China Top Brand has been expanded to cover the seasoning category (soy sauce, vinegar) and the evaluation standard more strictly imposed. Being selected one of the six national leading soy sauce manufacturers in this newly established category, is an endorsement of Lee Kum Kee's outstanding performance in product quality, services and brand trustworthiness in the mind of consumers.
